Acceptable use
You may use BarcodeForge to generate barcodes for lawful purposes including inventory management, product labeling, testing, prototyping, marketing, and business operations.
Prohibited uses
You may not use BarcodeForge for:
- Counterfeiting products or creating fraudulent product labels
- Unauthorized duplication of officially assigned product barcodes
- Deceptive labeling of retail products without proper authorization
- Any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations
- Creating barcodes intended to deceive consumers or retailers
Retail barcode responsibility
Generated barcode images are provided for prototyping, testing, and internal use. For retail products sold through major stores or marketplaces, you are responsible for obtaining a properly assigned product number through GS1 or another authorized numbering organization. BarcodeForge does not assign or validate official product numbers.
No warranty
Barcodes are generated as-is. BarcodeForge makes no guarantee of scan reliability, printer compatibility, or fitness for any specific commercial application. Always test barcodes before printing at scale.
User responsibility
You are responsible for testing barcodes before printing large quantities and ensuring generated barcodes meet the requirements of your specific use case, scanner, or trading partner.
